I never realised how many MAC lipsticks I had until I emptied them all out onto the floor to do this post. Oh well, accidents happen.
Having just brought a new lipstick from MAC, I thought it would be a good idea to see what colours I had hidden away in my make-up draw. 10. And these 10 are just the ones I found quickly. Im sure if I rummage around in make up bags and wash bags I would find a few more! And to make it worse, I never wear half the colours because I get paranoid that they are too bright or too dark or too pale. But after have a look through my colour range (which is pretty impressive, and just pretty) I am going to make the conscious effort to wear more lipstick.

I loved this subtle colour when I saw it in the shop. Lipstick you can never really tell what it looks like unless it is on – obviously – but with the queues in MAC, I risked it and brought it. Safe to say I am totally sold. It is more of a shimmer than a colour. I have naturally red lips so I struggle wearing paler shades, but this is the perfect balance.

PLUM DANDY is the colour I went for. Out of all MAC lipsticks I love the FROST line the most, simple because I don’t find it too dry – my nemesis with lipstick. With some of their colours, such as RUBY WOO, (the bright red in the above photos) the colour is amazing but it is too dry for me. It takes ages to get on, it is impossible to wipe off if you make a mistake and it feels so heavy when its on, I always want to smother it in Vaseline. The FROST line is much more moist and easy to wear. I highly recommend.
