Boyfriend Jeans and Baggy Shirt

I am a big fan of baggy tops – but I am a religious wearer of skinny jeans.

I have too many pairs of skinny jeans, in too many colours, purely because I think that they are the most flattering for my figure and can be worn with pretty much anything. I therefore never even bother looking at other styles of denim.

However, on a recent, late night, online shopping splurge, I found this pair of ripped boyfriend jeans (whilst I was looking to buy another pair of skinny jeans) on ASOS. The model looked so cool in them that I decided to give them ago myself.

And guess what? I love them. I know they will never replace skinny jeans as my go-to pair, but I love the different shape and style they give me. And they are super comfortable. Also, not having the rips on the knee is so much nicer.

I have paired these ASOS jeans with a baggy oversized khaki shirt (yes – also from my late night shopping); Carvela pale pink heels, Ray Ban sunglasses, Michael Kors watch and a hat I brought from a market stall.

Having always been a fan of baggy tops tucked into trousers, skirts, jeans, shorts – so that was the look I went for today. I was aiming for more of a Grace Kelly off-duty look but I fear I look more like Steve Irwin battling crocodiles in the baggy green shirt and hat.

Also – heels and jeans – the dream. One of my favourite looks. Elegant, sexy and classy.
