There is always something amazing and quaint about Afternoon Tea – but when it is in the theme of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and based on Alice in Wonderland then it is totally magical.
I took my sister for her birthday and I can’t wait for her birthday to come round again just so we can revisit.
Even the plates and saucers are themed – at first I was really confused why I had the number four on my cup and then I worked it out – Time 4 Tea. Or Tea Time – at 4 o’clock.
The menu is stuck into a genuine old book – you flick through until you find it. It is all done with such perfect fairytale detail!

When we were waiting for our sandwiches and cakes to arrive, we were asked what tea we would like. The options were far from your average everyday cup of tea, but you could choose from flavours such as Strawberries and Cream tea, Mint Chocolate tea, Rhubarb and Custard tea. We opted for Strawberries and Cream and it was sublime. We had two pots of it! And I love the crown on the tea pot!
The most amazing sugar bowl – a jewellery box. So beautiful. I also love the ‘A Spoonful of..’ on the lid, it is just so cute.
Tea has arrived!
Gorgeous home made cakes and the sandwiches were the tastiest I have every had – and that is no exaggeration. I am way more of a savoury girl than a sweet one, so I could have eaten these sandwiches all day. The bread is all different flavours and colours and it just looks as good as it tastes.

We had the greatest time, I highly recommend it. It is £38 just for tea, and if you want to add champagne you are paying £48, and £58 for pink champagne!
You get a refill of sandwiches as well so may as well make the most of that!
Hope everyone is having a lovely day!
Lots of Love,
