#LightUpMyStreet in Oasis Partywear

It is Christmas Party season (if I could make the text glitter and sparkle and flash – I would) and I have some party outfit inspiration for you in one word: Oasis.

It is like a pattern-glitter-winter party-wear dream over at Oasis Christmas Partywear.

I popped into the new Oasis store on Tottenham Court Road a few weeks ago – which is so SO cute by the way – they have a cafe and a beauty bar – nails/hair/eyebrows/the works – its a party in itself – go visit!

Anyway – I popped in and fell in love with their entire collection.. Don’t even get me started on the coats..

Got distracted again, one more time..

So.. I fell in love with their entire collection and it is now my go-to brand for festive dressing.

For partying this season, I was really looking for something a bit different, so I thought midi skirt. And let me tell y’all something, this Oasis midi(*) is beauty to the max-i. So easy to dress it up – but also looks dreamy dressed down with a big wool jumper.
The gorgeous ‘Jacquard’ pattern/fabric that my skirt is made from is also available in a mini skirt, a dress, a coat, shoes… you could basically go totally camouflaged in this amazing kinda-grandma-curtain-but-it-just-works print. I am obsessed with it.

I teamed it up with a plain black top I found in the bottom of my wardrobe, a leather jacket from Zara and then a glitter clutch(*) because (EVERYONE needs one of those) & silver party shoes(*) with the most comfortable block heel evvveeerrr – both from Oasis.

I tried to take these outfit photos in the most ridiculous Storm Desmond gail force winds… Hence the hair flying everywhere in almost every photo… but hey – it adds a slight current affairs theme to this blog post… right?

Being completely blown away… by how much I love my party pieces… obvs

What are the odds of finding a brick-paved street with the same colour scheme as your skirt?!

I tried to look like all the other bloggers who look flawlessly cool in their ‘action walking’ shots. I just look like I have had one too many mulled wines, and am struggling with the pavement/heel situation.
*awful flashbacks to trying to wear stilettos in Covent Garden* never again.

The blogger sin – forgetting to take the label off the bottom of your shoe…

Still really struggling with the gail force wind issue.. trying to pin the skirt down so it doesn’t look like an inflated circus tent

I love this outfit – it is different from my normal ‘dress and offensive Christmas jumper party combo’ – a hell of a lot more grown-up and ladylike than that – & it’s just so pretty. I feel the each item is trés Christmassy but could so easily be worn in Spring and Summer and Autumn – just change the colour of your top. Whip on a nice pale-pink floaty top and voilà – Wedding guest attire.

And now, before I turn totally French, I will bid you Au Revoir! Hope you have enjoyed this party pieces post – thanks again for reading all the way to the end and have a GREAT time partying in your pretty party pieces! <3

xx
